| Hello everyone, I’m Jan Chang from Hong Kong. My illustration brand is called A Piece oF, and it was established in 2021. Each year, I create works around a different theme, using illustrations to build unique spaces that guide people from the external world into an exploration of their inner selves—where they can discover the interesting, beautiful, and precious moments hidden within. This time, I’ll be presenting a series of illustrations under the theme “Whispers of Hong Kong.” Through these works, I hope to share the unique character of Hong Kong and the different messages it quietly conveys to us, bringing a little inspiration to your daily lives. This will be my first time exhibiting overseas, and also my first time visiting Bangkok. I’m feeling truly nervous, excited, and really looking forward to it! I hope that, through my work, you’ll get to know more about us. ;D |

Egg Tart
Egg tarts, inspired by Western fruit tarts, became popular in Hong Kong in the 1950s. Enjoyed with milk tea or coffee, they represent the city’s blend of Chinese and Western cultures.

“Yum cha” is a cherished Hong Kong tradition, where families and friends share dim sum over tea. More than a meal, it celebrates flavour, togetherness, and the city’s warmth.
