| Hello, I'm an artist based in Nonthaburi, Thailand. My work is exploring the inner state, especially various kinds of frustration feelings that are caused by distorted mindset, represented through surrealism animal figurative. And I'm also interested in portraits and animal figurative works. | |
Overwhelm
This work reflects the intense feeling that is kept inside because oneself considers it unacceptable. Distorted mindset makes one harsh on oneself. The red bird has a strong will to go far but is held back. The wings grow randomly, representing the struggle in pain and guilt.
Withered
The black bird symbolizes a wild and strong life force. But it is firmly bound to the white columns, which means the rule and morals. The rigid control is against the wild emotion's nature, it hurts and slowly kills a lively soul.
To be Stuck in Pain
Sometimes the heart forms a shield when it can't let go of the past pain. The shield looks intimidating and also sad. It protects the wounded heart during the silent work in the shadow, until they overcome the pain one day.
The cage of Right and Wrong
To define something's value, it creates boundaries of right and wrong. When it's going too rigid, the right thing is about to be locked in the cage. And the things that is considered wrong is forced to be inferior. But on the other hand, if they are the birds, doesn't it could be more than that?
This Demon Forgives Me
The artwork represents a conversation with the self in the moment of guilt. The red cat is scared, lying down in the broken Greek temple, a symbol of moral. But the black cat accepts everything and accepts the red cat too.
Dead End
Normally, oneself can contain instinct, feeling, logical thinking and morals. But this creature is holding too much of it all. It becomes a combination of things that are conflicting and cannot be reconciled. It ended up being numb, doubting its own perception and wondering if this is the dead end.
Hiding in the Clouds of Thoughts
This piece portrays the moment of stepping back and comprehending difficult situations or uncomfortable feelings. Thinking can lead to solutions of problems or at least escape from frustration for a while.
Guarded
The red cat is in the state of feeling unsafe. it doubts that it is in danger but are not sure about that. So, it sits still, beware of everything in its surrounding.
