Hellopicnickids is by Mika, an artist who enjoys drawing whimsical and fantasy illustrations based on objects seen and heard. She enjoys drawing cute and silly stuff and also expresses herself through flowy ornaments and a range of flowers.

She Sleeps at Daylight

A fairy in slumber as the daylight comes because of all the whimsy stuff she's done the night before. This is how I illustrated artists like me who dedicate so much time and effort and immerse themselves into their craft, not knowing that it's already the break of day and they have to rest. I also incorporated how my room looked like at this moment in time as a reminiscence of habits and belongings.

Once Upon a Dream

An ode to friendship and deep slumbers. I did this during a rainy season and so I wanted to illustrate coziness inside a bedroom with my friends who just want to rest and talk all day.

Of Tears Everflowing

An illustration that I wanted to portray melancholy however, a hopeful one. This is about crying and how things will eventually get better.

A trance a person is in when they are in flow state and how I feel about romanticizing life and my dreams.

Bedroom Fantasies

This artwork is about the concept of realities and fantasies as a juxtaposition, however illustrated as two things that could coincide with one another. It also means that one's fantasy can become a reality. The artwork includes flowers from my camera roll and my dream room from my imagination and bits of how my room looks like right now!

Flowing Melodies

An illustration of how music flows and how piano is a part of who I am, that gives color into my life, the way art and flowers does to. I grew up learning this instrument forced upon me but as I grew older, I then learned to love it dearly.
