I'm Beam, a wildlife researcher and outdoor educator from Thailand. My journeys through wildlife conservation, outdoor education, and mountain travel have shaped both my life and my work—from hornbill conservation projects in Thailand to long walks through the Himalayas of Nepal.
I preserve these experiences through drawing, transforming memories into visual stories in colored pencil, pastel, and oil pastel, often made with whatever materials I could carry during each journey. Every picture I draw was first captured through my own eyes—moments of happiness, curiosity, and connection that I wanted to keep.
My subjects include hornbills, Giant Nuthatches, yaks, mountain meadows, and Himalayan sunsets—some wild animals, others individuals I came to know personally, each with their own character and history.
I draw to remember. Each piece is a way of keeping a moment alive long after the journey has ended. |
