| I’m Nat Somdee, aka Somdee a character artist from Thailand. Ever since I was young, I’ve been fascinated by drawing characters. I was always curious about how a simple face or silhouette could carry emotions, memories, and stories. As I grew older, that curiosity became my way of expressing how I see the world. My work is inspired by feelings more than words. I create characters that become quiet companions—ones that reflect comfort, hope, loneliness, courage, and the small emotions we all experience. Through illustration, sculpture, and storytelling, I’m building a world where each character has its own personality and meaning. My first collection introduces two sculptures, "Keep Me Safe in the Dark" and "Keep Me Safe in the Light", alongside the illustration "Within 001 and 002". Together, they explore the idea that even in moments of uncertainty, we can find strength by trusting ourselves and embracing both the light and the darkness within us. This is only the beginning. My dream is to continue expanding this universe into a collection of characters, stories, sculptures, and artworks that people around the world can connect with. I hope that somewhere in my work, someone can find a character that feels like a friend one that reminds them they are never alone. |

SOMDEE
The spikes symbolize the invisible defenses shaped by pain and vulnerability, while the heart represents the gentle self we continue to protect. Through this character, Somdee reminds us to offer ourselves the same kindness, patience, and compassion that we give to others.
Junk Food
Junk Food explores the quiet conflict between comfort and consequence. The oversized burger and fries tempt us with instant satisfaction, while the weighing scale reveals the unseen cost of our daily choices. It is a reflection on desire, balance, and the weight we carry beyond the plate.
Beyond the Horizon
A journey into the unknown, where the sea becomes a metaphor for life’s endless possibilities. The fractured landscape reflects uncertainty, while the distant light offers hope, reminding us that every voyage begins with the courage to move forward.
Sunset Getaway
Sunset Getaway captures the freedom of leaving the ordinary behind. Resting beside the shore, the vintage van and surfboards symbolize adventure, while the warm sunset reminds us that life's most meaningful journeys are found in moments of peace, exploration, and connection with nature.
