Hello, I'm Buaroong, a Thai-Chinese illustrator based in Thailand.

I graduated with a degree in languages, which allows me to communicate in Thai, Chinese, and English. Learning different languages has also deepened my interest in cultures around the world, and together with my love for music, sports, traveling, and everyday life, these experiences continue to inspire my illustrations.

I create warm illustrations that celebrate friendship, everyday adventures, and the charm of Thai culture through my original characters, Moji Panda and Maki Monkey.

The Story of Moji & Maki
I created Moji Panda because I have always loved pandas. They are cute, playful, and sometimes a little lazy, which reminds me of myself. Through Moji, I share the things I enjoy and the places I want to explore.

I created Maki Monkey to be Moji's best friend. In real life, I sometimes travel or spend time alone, but honestly, I always prefer having a friend with me. That's why I often draw Maki alongside Moji, and "Life is Better with Friends" has always been the main theme of my illustrations.

Through Moji and Maki, I hope to share the joy of friendship, traveling, and finding happiness in everyday life.

Under the Sea

I love scuba diving, and the underwater world has always fascinated me. I truly enjoyed creating this illustration. I used bright colors to capture the beauty and magical feeling of life under the sea.

Sunshine

This illustration is a wish for my friends and myself. No matter what happened during the first half of the year, I hope the second half will be brighter, warmer, and filled with hope.

Bank Note

I think banknotes are something that represent kingdoms or worlds in their own way. The value of each one is different, just like every individual has their own unique value. In this piece, Mochi represents bamboo, while Maki represents bananas.

Gallery

Looking back at old photos from trips or activities we shared with others always brings happiness. In this piece, Mochi and Maki are putting their photos on display in a room, creating their own little gallery of memories.

Shopping

Shopping with a friend is always fun. It is a simple way to spend time together and discover more about each other's personalities and favorite things.

Hong Kong Tram

After attending HKICS, I wanted to create a piece as a personal keepsake of my visit. I have always loved trams — they are charming, unique, and full of character. I think it is wonderful that Hong Kong still preserves and operates these trams, allowing their special identity to continue.

Skateboarding

Skateboarding looks exciting and fun, although I have never tried it myself. Through Moji and Maki, I imagined the joy and freedom of experiencing it together.

Thai Vibes

This piece was originally submitted to the CreathAIvity competition organized by PUBAT. I transformed it into a tote bag design. Many of my international friends really loved this piece.

Three Things I Miss about Bangkok

This illustration was inspired by the little things I think it is out Thai uniqueness. It reflects the familiar scenes and everyday experiences that make Thailand unique and memorable.

Little Red Hood

I wanted to reinterpret the classic fairy tale of Little Red Riding Hood in my own way. In my version, the wolf does not necessarily have to be frightening like the traditional story. I think exploring a new perspective on a familiar tale is a fun creative process.
