Hello! I'm Gloria Abigail, an illustrator who creates whimsical worlds inspired by flowers and human imperfection. I’m drawn to warmth, texture, and little irregularities, the kinds of details that make things feel alive and honest. For me, illustration is a way to slow down and make sense of everyday feelings. I like giving life to my creations, sometimes even animating them, and exploring different visual styles just to see how far a small idea can grow. Alongside my personal practice, I work as a UX Illustrator, shaping digital experiences used by millions. My work lives somewhere between screens and stories—functional, yet still deeply human.

Bugs On A Rug

Three little bugs sleeping beneath a rug, illustrated in a soft watercolor and gouache style. This piece explores the beauty of simple forms, gentle textures, and quiet emotions. With curved shapes and tender lines, I create a cozy world where small moments of rest and connection become stories to discover.

Bug On A Jug

A little bug relaxes in a warm cup of coffee on a peaceful morning—not drowning, just enjoying the moment. Illustrated in a soft watercolor and gouache style

Cosmos

Delicate stars are woven into flowing hair, creating a quiet universe filled with wonder. Illustrated in a soft watercolor and gouache style, this piece explores dreams, beauty, and the gentle connection between ourselves and the cosmos.

What made you smile today?

A small reminder to pause, appreciate little moments, and carry a little more joy into everyday life :). Illustrated in a soft watercolor and gouache style.

3 Wise Little Acorns

Three wise little acorns embody the familiar saying: see no evil, speak no evil, and hear no evil. A playful reflection on friendship, shared moments, and the little ways we pretend everything is fine. Illustrated in a soft watercolor and gouache style.

The Orange Eater

A horse enjoying a freshly peeled orange, celebrating the simple pleasure of slowing down and savoring everyday moments. With a playful touch and the reminder to “Peel good, feel good,” this illustration is brought to life in a soft watercolor and gouache style.

Indonesian Sweets

A celebration of Indonesian sweets, especially Jajanan Pasar—traditional treats filled with memories, colors, and flavors. Illustrated in a soft watercolor and gouache style, this piece captures the warmth and joy found in everyday culinary traditions.

Happy Daisy

Daisies are my favorite flowers, so I imagined one with a cheerful little face. Illustrated in a soft watercolor and gouache style.

Bee and Flower

A chunky little bee pauses to smell a tiny flower in the garden. Illustrated in a soft watercolor and gouache style, this piece captures a gentle moment of curiosity, sweetness, and appreciation for the little things in nature.

The Girl Who Found Light

A hopeful young girl finds comfort in her own little world while navigating a difficult moment in her life. Illustrated in a soft watercolor and gouache style, this piece explores resilience, imagination, and the quiet strength found within.
