My name is Tuche. I have a deep passion for ancient art, tribal aesthetics, and sculpture. I am fascinated by the symbols used by people of the past to convey their stories, ways of life, beliefs, and beauty—constantly leaving me to wonder, 'How did they ever create such things?'

While I enjoy experimenting with different artistic methods, pencil remains my favorite medium. Its immediacy fits my forgetful habits, allowing me to put ideas down instantly before they slip away.

As a child, simply drawing on paper brought me endless joy and boundless imagination. That was until I began my formal art education. While it opened my eyes and taught me so much, it also brought an unexpected struggle. One day, I found myself staring at a blank sheet of paper, completely at a loss for what to draw. That moment of stillness forced me to look deep within, reflecting on my true connection and passion for art.

This artwork depicts two deities: the creator and the god of death. The design incorporates symbolism from the Aztec civilization, their beliefs, and their way of life to draw a parallel with modern living, prompting us to reflect on the forces of creation and destruction. In today’s world, where we often lose sight of death, loss, farewells, and new beginnings, I created these two deities to serve as a personal reminder.
