PaBo DUCK Adventure
The idea behind this piece centers on "PaBo DUCK," a cute little duck with long legs who absolutely loves exploring. He sets out on solo journeys to many different places, always looking to push his limits and experience brand-new things he has never tried before.
Snow Duck
Concept: "Snow Duck" is a playful adaptation of "Snow White," reimagined through a cute, "big-eyed" art style. The word "White" is replaced with "Duck" to add a touch of cuteness. In this artwork, Snow White is portrayed as "PaBo DUCK" who is about to pick an apple offered by "LiLY FoX" a fennec fox witch.
Doro Duck
Concept: "Doro Duck" is a whimsical reimagining of "Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz," featuring a cute, "big-eyed" illustration style. The syllable "-thy" is replaced with "-Duck" for a cuter vibe. In this setup, Dorothy is played by the "PaBo DUCK" while the little brown puppy is reimagined as "LiLY" the fennec fox. Her three companions—"Cowardly Lion, Tin Man, and Scarecrow"—are adapted into Dorothy's own friend group: "Sam Cat, Jean Fish, and Bunny Moon."
Songkran
Concept: "Songkran" is a traditional festival in Thailand celebrated every April. During this time, everyone goes out tosplash water and apply traditional powder (white clay paste) on each other. This piece brings "PaBo DUCK" and his friends together to join in on the water-splashing fun.
Camping
Concept: In early August, PaBo went camping with a group of friends from outside his usual circle. They enjoyed various activities together, including traveling, pitching tents, and outdoor cooking. It was a wonderful opportunity to unlock new experiences and share unforgettable moments with friends.
Loy Krathong
Concept: "Loy Krathong" is a traditional Thai festival celebrated every November. On this day, people float decorated baskets (Krathongs) on rivers to honor the Goddess of Water (Phra Mae Khongkha) and wash away their misfortunes and sorrows. In this piece, "PaBo DUCK" and his friends are seen riding in a giant boat-shaped Krathong.
Christmas
Concept: "Christmas," celebrated annually on December 25th, comes with a classic children's belief: "If you're a good child, Santa Claus will bring you a gift." It is a day filled with excitement for children eagerly awaiting their presents. For this artwork, PaBo and his friends take on a special mission to deliver gifts to good kids, all dressed up in festive "Santa Claus" outfits.
Valentine
Concept: "Valentine's Day" on February 14th is the celebration of "Love." Couples express their affection by exchanging gifts like red roses and chocolates. This illustration features PaBo DUCK and four of his friends dressed as "Cupids," the ultimate symbols of love, spreading joy and affection.
Chinese New Year
Concept: "Chinese New Year" marks the beginning of the lunar new year, a grand and significant celebration for Chinese and Thai-Chinese communities. To capture the festive spirit, this piece shows PaBo DUCK and his companions performing a lively and colorful lion dance.
PaBo In Wonderland
Concept: "PaBo In Wonderland" is a whimsical adaptation of "Alice in Wonderland," reimagined through a cute, "big-eyed" art style. The character "Alice" is replaced by the long-legged duck "PaBo DUCK" to give it a more charming twist. The piece also features many of his friends playing iconic roles, such as the Cheshire Cat, the Queen of Hearts, and various other wonderland characters.
