I am Kelsey Choi, a Hong Kong-based creator and founder of the brand 'Something Weird.'

The world is obsessed with labeling things as 'normal' or 'abnormal,' but I have always questioned the necessity of these definitions. Growing up, I was often perceived as 'weird.' However, I’ve come to realize that creativity thrives only when we break away from the conventional. Great innovators—from Edison to the visionaries of our time—were all seen as 'weird' before they changed the world. Through my work, I want to show that what we label as 'weird' is often the very spark of innovation. To me, embracing the weird is not just an artistic choice; it is how we challenge the status quo and make the world a better place.

The Quoted World

"We don't see the world as it is; we see it as we are."
The artwork [The Quoted World] explores the subjectivity of human perception. By transforming the Earth into a pupil, I aim to illustrate that our worldview is merely a reflection of our own beliefs and desires, often bounded by the 'quotation marks' of our own experiences and prejudices.

We Can Do It (Our Way)

The evolution of power. By unzipping her 'human' mask to reveal an extraterrestrial core, this piece redefines resilience. It is a manifesto for the 'alien'—for those who don’t fit in but still possess the strength to lead in their own unique way.

Harvey Dent

The duality of existence: the polite smile we show to the world, and the cold reality we hide behind the zipper.

The Breathing Space

Amidst the chaos and crushing weight of modern life, I offer you a moment of stillness—a breathing space where we can simply be, together.

The Hollow Embrace

The Hollow Embrace. A search for connection in a superficial world. We hold onto emptiness, hoping it will feel like love.

Inner Garden

Meditation is the ultimate filter. By cocooning the mind, I cultivate a private garden of stillness—a sanctuary where I tune out the chaotic noise of the world, preserving a space where inner clarity can breathe, bloom, and remain untouched by the storm outside.

Skybound Joy ความสุขแห่งนภา

Inspired by the profound connection between light and atmosphere, this piece transforms the sky into a canvas for happiness, where smiles blossom like clouds. It reflects a world where joy is not merely an emotion, but a shared existence—a gentle reminder that even amidst the vastness of life, finding the right 'other' can turn every day into a sunny sanctuary of warmth.

My Only Audience

Self-love is the most private performance. In a world of constant judgment, I turn toward the mirror to become my own spectator, finding acceptance in the reflection I once feared.

The Awakening Soul

The Awakening. A journey of self-discovery, woven into the fabric. Featuring a vintage wash and a mystical dragon emblem, this piece serves as a quiet reminder to look within—to confront, embrace, and ultimately know who you are. Wear your own awakening.

The Eye of Worth

This mirror key charm is a little reminder in your pocket. Whenever you check your reflection, let these words speak to you: 'You look so great today.' It’s a simple way to tell yourself—no matter the day—that you are the best.
