Drowning

Current work in progress comic called “จมนิรันดร์” or “Drown Niran”

Chol is a beloved national swimming athlete, who has been covering some of the past about his childhood that he hopes won’t be dug up. Though rising in the competition, he’s drowning in his emotions of anger and fear after a person showed up at his press conference, “Niran” — The friend that died in front of his eyes a long time ago.

Drown

Current work in progress comic called “จมนิรันดร์” or “Drown Niran”

Niran is Chol’s childhood friend who lived in a big luxurious house across Chol’s. However, an incident happened where he drowned and passed away— or supposed to. Niran showed up again with anger to disclose what had happened that day. The illustrations depict anger from the pain and the tangling relationship between him and Chol.

Dear the dead one, เรียนผู้ตาย

"Karn", a photographer who is giving up on his career, was hired to shoot at a funeral from a mysterious client. With suspicions and curiosity, he decided to accept the offer. However, strange events happen at the funeral– the corpse disappears from the coffin. If death means passing away then can one's losing dream be considered death?

Dear the dead one, เรียนผู้ตาย - The Wall

This almost-silent comic aims to deliver the story through mainly visuals, where readers are welcomed to interpret the story and meanings in their own way. It is visually inspired from elements of Thai funerals and Thai temples.
The story progresses with the rise in doubt of the main character about his future path, interpreted through elements such as coffins and portraits which refer to the death of the main character’s dream, eyes and camera lens which refers to presand sure expectation he received.

Traces

The illustration of “Noah”, a main character from a drama/thriller silent comic project “Said The World Is Ending”. The story took place in 2030 after a zombie virus when the whole world became a disaster. Ethan and Noah are trying their best to survive in this apocalypse together, without knowing that they will have to part ways soon. Though surviving in this apocalyptic world while Ethan couldn’t, he lives the life reminiscing of his best friend, seeing his traces in things that were left behind.

Winter Boy

Winter boy is a character zine of a mysterious boy who might or might not be remembered, might or might not exist. The zine introduces the character vaguely, letting the audience get to know the character, however not fully understand who he is, doubting his existence. The illustrations and panels consisted of uncanny compositions which intrigued the sense of mystery of the character.
This project aims to experiment with graphic storytelling and finding interesting ways of panel arrangement. It challenges the standard comic panelling that is typically designed to read from left to right/Right to left and downward. For instance, some pages include scattered panels where readers can start focusing on any panel or circular panels that can be seen as a reading loop.

Marks

This work started from a messy drawing on a sketchbook yet remains messy to contain the raw emotion and strokes of the pen. It resembles the scars and marks that humans gain through aging, as marks and scars are the evidence of highs and lows we’ve encountered through life.

Bystanders

Bystanders is a coming of age/drama comics revolves around "Jay" who lost an important friend. The process of erasing his traces out of memory is more painful than he thought. And when he was about to do that, a guy turned up and reminded him of everything. It is the story of ‘Bystanders’ who were left with grief and regrets
Bystanders focuses on the transition between timeline and story of Jay and Ai who were winded together by Yuu who passed away, reminding them that they are no different from lost teenagers.

Hug

Current work in progress comic called “จมนิรันดร์” or “Drown Niran”
Hugging is an intimate action between people. However, for Chol and Niran who have been through love and hate, it is both a longing and hating action.

The Last Section

“The Last Section” is a dystopian futurism graphic novel revolving around the limited self-expression that young generations experience under the influence of Thai culture and society.

Dunn, a student from the high section that consists of only well-performed students is at risk of being sent to the low section, the place of unqualified students. However, he is unaware that his elimination has been predetermined. He is meant to be sent down.
The narrative addresses several societal is- sues through the concept of unity and classism. It questions whether the things we have been taught are benefiting us or are they slowly erasing our identity.
