kinokeie is an illustrator / storyteller / visual communication designer / artist based in Bangkok whose love for soft, pale colours, negative space, fluorescent neon bits, and translucent textures leaks into different forms of work. Her subjects usually revolve around intangible feelings of warmth, sentimentality, and delicacy.

Kino is the name of her family's chihuahua, named after a bookstore they often visited. Keie means "to set in motion." In a way, she'd like to keep creating works with the same simple liveliness as her dog running about, hoping to set something beyond herself in motion, too.

hiding today

I get embarrassed exposing a window into my mind.
Then again, I want you to find it.
I just hope it won't make you flinch.
So perhaps, veil it with something translucent...
a curtain is perfect.
