Fahmi Maulana is the creator of Whoazup, a four-eyed pink monster character born from his personal emotions and inner struggles. Rather than portraying fear, Whoazup represents the creator's hidden side a visual expression of feelings that are often difficult to put into words.

Inspired by Fahmi's own experiences of being shy, introverted, prone to overthinking, and lacking self-confidence in everyday life, Whoazup becomes an emotional outlet where those feelings can be transformed into playful yet meaningful character designs.

Through Digital illustration and Designer Art Toys, Fahmi continues to expand the world of Whoazup, turning vulnerability into creativity and inviting others to embrace the imperfect, expressive side of themselves.

Mysticloud

Mysticloud is the first artwork inspired by the creator’s childhood imagination. As a child, I loved talking to my favorite toys and imagined they were my best friends living high above the clouds. My pillow became a magical cloud where we played together, shared adventures, and created a world that only my imagination could see.

This artwork brings those precious memories back to life, celebrating the innocence, creativity, and comfort of childhood. Mysticloud is a reminder that imagination has no limits, and that the little worlds we create as children can stay with us forever.

Mystiflora

Mystiflora is the second artwork inspired by the creator’s childhood memories. As a child, I loved spending time in the garden, surrounded by colorful flowers while playing with my favorite toys. The garden became a place where imagination could grow freely and every day felt like a new adventure.

The corpse flower (Amorphophallus titanum) appears in this artwork as a symbol. After a long day of playing outside, you would often come home dirty and smelly but those moments were always the most fun and memorable. Just like the corpse flower, which is unusual yet fascinating, these imperfect childhood memories became something truly special.

Zuppera

Zuppera, inspired by the creator’s childhood memories. As a child, I experienced bullying at school and in my neighborhood. Those experiences left emotional scars and made me realize how painful conflict can be.

This artwork reflects my strong dislike of fighting and violence. To me, the highest form of hatred between people is war. Instead of using a rocket to destroy, Whoazup holds it as a symbol of transforming violence into something beautiful without hurting anyone.

The Last Tree

The Last Tree is inspired by the condition of our forests today. More and more forests are being destroyed for power, profit, and personal gain, with little care for the plants and animals that call them home.

In this artwork, Whoazup quietly, sad watches a world where nature is disappearing. The empty land and tree stumps represent the loss of forests and the lives that disappear with them. As habitats are destroyed, many species are pushed closer to extinction.

The Last Tree is a reminder that nature is not something we own it is something we must protect. Through this artwork, the creator hopes to encourage people to care more about the environment before the last tree is all that remains.

Power Zup

Power Zup is inspired by the creator's dream of having the power to stand against corrupt and cruel rulers, protect innocent people, and fight for what is right, The visual represents courage, justice, and the hope.

Floraria

Floraria (Flora Ceria) is inspired by the creator’s childhood love for plants. Since childhood, plants have always been more than just decoration. The creator often talked to them as if they were close friends, finding comfort and happiness in their quiet presence.

Even after growing up and moving to the city for work, that connection never disappeared. Living in a small rented room, there always had to be plants nearby, bringing a sense of peace and reminding the creator of home.

Through Floraria, Whoazup celebrates the special bond between people and nature. It is a gentle reminder that even the smallest plant can bring life, comfort, and hope into our everyday lives.

Hidden Scars

Hidden Scars is inspired by childhood fears and the invisible wounds they leave behind. As a child, I was afraid of ghosts, insects, and the many myths adults used to keep children from doing certain things. Those stories often created fear and trauma that stayed with me for years.

In this artwork, the many eyes represent the courage to open our eyes wider and face our fears. As we grow older, those childhood fears slowly fade away. We begin to realize that the real world, with its challenges, pain, and uncertainty, can be far more frightening than the imaginary monsters we once believed in.

Visual Noise

Visual Noise is inspired by the confusing journey of growing up. The transition from childhood to adulthood is filled with happiness, struggles, and countless memories that become blurry over time. When I close my eyes and try to remember those moments, they appear like a colorful, trippy dream.

The four eyes in this artwork symbolize seeing too many emotions, memories, and possibilities all at once. Everything feels overly clear yet impossible to fully understand, creating a sense of chaos and overwhelming the mind.

Growing Pains

Growing Pains is inspired by the creator’s journey through the ups and downs of life, from childhood to adulthood. Along the way, there were many difficult moments, failures, and challenges that shaped who the creator is today.

Every obstacle became a lesson, and every setback became a reason to keep moving forward. Although the path was never easy, those experiences helped build strength and resilience.

Fishing

Fishing is inspired by one of the creator’s happiest childhood memories going fishing with their father. It was a simple moment, but it became one of the most meaningful memories in life.

That special experience only happened once, yet it has stayed in the creator’s heart ever since. It reminds us that the most valuable memories are not always the biggest ones, but the moments shared with the people we love.
