| I am Tianxi, a freelance artist from China, based in UK and China. My work is simple, cute, and filled with tiny characters — little figures that wander through everyday scenes, each with their own quiet story to tell. I believe that even the most ordinary moments can hold a world of emotion, and I use my sketchbook as a visual diary to capture them. Through soft lines and gentle colors, I translate my daily life and shifting moods into playful, heartfelt illustrations. Whether it’s a rainy afternoon, a cup of tea, or a fleeting feeling of nostalgia — I try to turn it into something tender and relatable. |

Pipe Dream
A illustration inspired by old Chinese mysterious story: The Golden Millet Dream, Once upon a time in the Tang Dynasty, there was a poor scholar named Lu Sheng. He was ambitious but deeply frustrated by his failure in the imperial examinations. In his dream, he lived an entire lifetime — rising to great wealth, power, and fame. When he finally woke up, he realized that the innkeeper's pot of millet was still cooking. He had only been asleep for a short time, but in his dream, he had lived an entire lifetime. The priest smiled and said, "The affairs of the world are just like this". At that moment, Lu Sheng understood that all his worldly ambitions were as empty as a dream.
