I am fascinated by how life continuously reshapes itself through connection and change.

Life is not a fixed state, but a continuous process of emergence. In my work, boundaries dissolve, unexpected connections arise, and new forms quietly evolve. Transformation itself becomes the narrative.

Through saturated colors, intuitive compositions, and living forms, I celebrate life as something constantly becoming. My practice is rooted in the belief that abundance exists precisely within irregularity—that beauty emerges through change, coexistence, and emotional flow.

Created through intuition and symmetry, these works do not begin with the intention of depicting a creature. Instead, they trace the emergence of form through an improvisational process. Born Between Us

This work began with an unfinished drawing shared by a close friend and fellow illustrator. Instead of completing her image, I entered into a dialogue with it, allowing our two visual languages to intertwine and grow into something neither of us could have created alone.
The sun and the bird represent the two of us. Through our connection, water, leaves, wood, and fire emerge—not as separate symbols, but as a shared landscape born from trust, imagination, and the quiet generosity of friendship.
Framed by つづく ("To Be Continued") and Y.O.L.O., the composition reflects on both continuity and impermanence. Life happens only once, yet the bonds we nurture continue to shape us, giving birth to new possibilities long after a conversation begins.
Dedicated to the friend I cherish most, and my greatest ally.

In the Donut Hole: Hearing

"In the Donut Hole" is a dream about perception in motion.
The donut never truly exists. It appears only as a ring—an open space where sensations and meanings can flow freely and blend into one another.
Here, a hand passes through a metal ear guage while monks cross a stone path below. Listening is no longer confined to the ear alone—the hand becomes a way of hearing sounds that seem to belong to another world.

"In the Donut Hole" is a dream about perception in motion.
The donut never truly exists. It appears only as a ring—an open space where sensations and meanings can flow freely and blend into one another.
Here, a hand reaches through a ring to touch a floating sphere. The familiar act of touching becomes a exploration of perception, inviting the body to experience the unknown beyond its ordinary senses.

City Series: Bangkok Winter No.1

"Bangkok Winter No.1" is the first work in my "City Series".
Inspired by my final day wandering through Bangkok, this piece reflects the city's quiet yet overflowing vitality. Colorful buildings, wild bamboo structures, and carefully designed lamps coexisted in unexpected harmony. Rather than feeling chaotic, these contrasting elements seemed to support one another, creating a city that felt alive and constantly growing.
I wanted to capture Bangkok as a living organism—where differences are not erased, but embraced, and where life flourishes through coexistence.

City Series: Bangkok Winter No.4

Inspired by a tuk-tuk driver waiting for passengers in the rain, this work captures a fleeting moment from Bangkok.
While drawing, the phrase "call me if you wanna cry" appeared almost instinctively. Rather than belonging to the driver, I imagined it as the city speaking—responding to the storm with a playful sense of humor, where heavy rain and human tears briefly become the same thing.
Like many of my works, I trust intuition before meaning. The story often reveals itself only after the image is complete.

City Series: Hokkaido Winter No.3

"Hokkaido Winter No.3" was inspired by rows of crows resting on metal railings in Hokkaido. Their calm posture and elegant silhouettes reminded me of gentlemen gathered in a jazz club.
A nearby hotel called Baron's Club sparked the rest of the imagination. Suddenly, the railings became a stage, the crows became well-dressed companions, and I found myself raising a green glass to join their celebration beneath the sky of Lake Noboribetsu and the Pacific Ocean.
Instead of portraying Hokkaido through its familiar stillness and muted palette, I chose vivid colors to reflect the excitement and sense of celebration I experienced there.

Love Arrives Like an Intrusion

Inspired by the emotional tension of a fictional love story, this illustration captures the moment when two lives collide.
A speeding car pierces a heart like a meteor. A record keeps spinning while music lingers in the air. Between these two "poor boys", one longs for security, while the other longs simply to be loved.
Some encounters arrive like an intrusion—unexpected, uninvited, yet strangely inevitable. Brief enough to disappear. Powerful enough to change everything.
