| "What if animals lived in this town?" Tarami is a Japanese digital illustrator currently based in Bangkok, Thailand. Inspired by the cultures, cityscapes, and travel experiences of Japan and Thailand, he creates illustrated worlds inhabited by animals. Some of these worlds are inspired by real places, while others exist only in imagination. Gathering at hot springs, running little shops, celebrating local festivals through the everyday lives of animals, his illustrations bring to life the stories, culture, and atmosphere that make each place unique. In addition to his personal work, he has created commercial illustrations for map projects, packaging design, and other visual communication materials. |
