March of ManNood

This painting is from the “ManNood” series
The ManNood series is relatively simple and fun. ManNood is a wordplay on the Thai word for "มนุษย์" (means human), primarily created to represent bareness and freedom. In other words, it's a concept without a concept.
This shows ManNood transforming into various forms, representing the human condition of freedom, not being bound by conventional norms, and the idea that we can become anything we want to be.

MarsNood

This painting is from the “ManNood” series
The series ManNood represents freedom and the ability to be anything. I had fun creating various forms of ManNood, again using a wordplay on this painting as “MarsNood”, meaning ManNood living on Mars. Therefore, the appearance of ManNood is in the form of a Martian.

Freeform ManNood

To make ManNood's concept more diverse, I thought that sculpting clay by hand would often result in rather free and imperfect shapes. Therefore, I sculpted the clay into various shapes, painted it, and drew eyes to create ManNood, which aligns with the concept of freedom and the absence of a definite form.

Technique : Air dry clay
