My name is Ruja. Most of my work is inspired by clouds, as they reflect the human emotional state. Much like our feelings, clouds constantly change shape. When they absorb moisture from the air and can no longer bear the weight, they release it as rain. This mirrors the human mind: when we carry too much, we must find a way to release it. Beyond resembling human emotions, the colors of the sky, along with the shape and density of the clouds, can also shift our mood. Consequently, my work utilizes the colors of the sky and clouds to reflect the core concept behind each piece.

Fleeting Happiness 1

Clouds and bubbles represent the fleeting nature of happiness.
Just as a cloud shifts its shape and a bubble lasts only for a few seconds,
this kind of joy is beautiful yet momentarily transient."

Happy Birthday

A birthday is the one day of the year that everyone looks forward to.
It’s a special moment to be surrounded by those we love and those
who love us,making it a recurring source of annual happiness

The Joy of Savoring

This piece explores the happiness found in eating. Sometimes,
simply going out to find a delicious meal is a form of joy in itself.
This concept is brought to life through a cloud character
with legs on its tongue,
ready to step out and explore new flavors."

Home

"Home is not merely a physical place, but an emotional state—a sanctuary where both body and mind find complete comfort. It is the serene feeling of waking up to a bright, peaceful morning. Inspired by this concept, this artwork features 'Cloudy' stretching lazily after a long sleep, embodying the very essence of comfort and peace."

Adorable

Encountering tiny creatures often evokes a unique sense of tenderness within us. This feeling of affection and endearment holds profound significance for humanity. When we observe small, soft-textured beings with large, round eyes, it naturally triggers an innate desire to care and protect. Historically, this very instinct is what drove humans to form communities, coming together to nurture and safeguard their newborns—ultimately ensuring the survival and continuity of our species to this day.

pee pee

This artwork is inspired by a playful childhood belief—the innocent imagination that rain falling from the sky was actually the clouds peeing. This painting captures that whimsical perspective, transforming a fond, lighthearted memory from my youth into a visual reality

Cloudy swimmer

Being confined by physical spaces or circumstantial limitations doesn't always have to be a source of sadness. If we look closer, we can always find small moments of joy and amusement right around us. This concept is mirrored in the imagery of swimming inside a fishbowl—even within a restricted environment, one can still discover their own world of endless fun and contentment.

To the moon

This artwork is inspired by NASA’s historic Artemis II mission, which granted humanity its first-ever glimpse of the Moon’s mysterious far side. The painting celebrates the success of this monumental mission by depicting 'Cloudy' sitting on the lunar surface, gazing back at Earth. To ground this imaginative piece in reality, the background is meticulously rendered based on actual photographs of the lunar far side captured by NASA

cloudy Art toy

This cloud character represents the ever-changing nature of the human mind, where thoughts and emotions constantly pass through and fade away. Just as daily clouds vary in color and density, they reflect our shifting moods—from the light, carefree feeling of a cirrus cloud to the dark, gloomy atmosphere of an impending storm like a cumulonimbus.
