Hi! I’m Phraeo (also known as Pigu.s), a multidisciplinary artist based between Bangkok and London.

My practice spans illustration, short animation, and a growing interest in socially engaged projects that bring people together. I’m also currently training as a tattoo artist and nail technician because I believe art can live everywhere, even on our bodies!

At the heart of everything I do is a love for connection, well-being, and vibrancy. Some of my work is playful and lighthearted; others are more reflective and rooted in care. A little motto I always carry with me is: “I just want to make someone’s day a little better.”

Whether I’m creating character-driven drawings, looping animations, or community-based pieces, I hope my work brings warmth, joy, or simply a moment to breathe.

To me, art isn’t just something to look at. It’s something to feel, to connect through, and sometimes even a small tool for a better life.

EATERCISE

I move so I can eat. A sweaty burn followed by delicious bites!

HUG FROM THE SKY

Whenever I don't feel well, I find comfort in hugging my pillow... like a quiet hug from the sky that reminds me I'm not alone.

LAZY SUNDAY

A slow sip, a soft breeze, and no to-do list. Just a sloth savouring his perfect Sunday.

NEAD DAO

Inspired by my nanny, whose name is “Nead Dao” which "Nead" means eyes and "Dao" means star in Thai. She’s been with me since I was born and has had a huge influence on who I am today.

To honour her love and care, I created this baby star character, full of wonder and wide-eyed warmth, just like how I remember being nurtured by her.

SEAFOOD HOT PLATE

After a hot hike in Epping Forest, we devoured a seafood hot plate — so I imagined the seafood having their own hot day too!

OUR LOVE LANGUAGE

It might sound like a RAWR, but in our world, that’s just another way to say “I love you.”

REWILDING THE SOUL

A painting made to accompany my installation. Inspired by the gentle sway of leaves, this piece invites you to pause, breathe, and return to yourself.

YUM RUAM MID

This 2-meter painting was created for my first exhibition, Fairyland. It brings together the essence of the entire show — a celebration of growth, self-discovery, and joy.

At the beginning of the process, I struggled with self-doubt, often feeling like I wasn’t good enough. The exhibition was built around the idea of becoming a better version of myself. Someone more confident, carefree, and able to spread joy to others.

Through creating this work and the rest of the series, I’ve learned to trust myself more. I may not be perfect, but I’ve grown more confident, and that shines through in the bold, vibrant strokes and colours. This piece is the joyful conclusion to that journey, and a reminder that becoming yourself is already enough.

DANCE AWAY

Stress fades where the music begins!

BAO BUNNY

Cuteness wrapped in a steamy little bun. I'm here to make you smile one hop at a time!
